Touch Free Life Care

The touch-free lifecare bed is made with embedded chips to monitor physiological functions.Patients can control their mattress temperature and bed position with the intuitive interface without having to call the nurse for these tasks. Also this screen is used by the nurse to maintain a record of drugs and fluids administered which is then sent to the interface at the nurse station. The interface at the nurse station shows and alerts any changes in parameters such as patient body temperature, blood pressure, sleep pattern and moisture levels. A lot of staff hours can thus be saved using tlc.

Nidus

Nidus is a concept bed for children treated at hospitals. The project aims to present a design consistent with humanitarian policies and efforts carried out in pediatric wards in Brazil´s public hospitals, making the hospitalization experience less traumatic for children. Inside hospitals, where the ward space is shared with other patients, kids are limited to bed borders, their personal space, almost like their “bedroom”. The project incorporates a series of communication elements aimed at aiding the contact between child and nurse, making the bed fun and customizable for the patient.

Heart disease, is one of the leading causes of death and the population aged 20 to 69 years suffers it, nearly 60% of affected are unaware of their disease. Vacs is a real-time heart pulse monitoring device through a photodiode sensor that measures blood flow, linked to a service platform, providing a immediate emergency response if it is necessary. Vacs creates a medical history of the patient, which is constantly updated in order to provide better treatment according to his specific needs. Vacs pursuits to create a healthcare preventive culture in the user’s habits in a non-disruptive way.

iHearty, is the cover that save your heart. Everyday people spend a lot of time in touch with their smartphone, collecting thousands of informations about work, culture, and leisure. Now is possible to transform this relationship for the health. iHearty is the cover with sensor mounted on a metallic plate. its primary function, is to call emergency center in case of heart attack, giving your position and a report of your condition; its secondary function, is to monitor timely your physical state, making a report to your doctor for diagnostic usage.

Eryigit

Eryigit is a new generation, reciprocating hospital bed with improved ergonomics and maneuverability with significant impact on decrease in tooling costs. The main body of the design is made by aluminum profiles and for their fixing and accessories,abs plastic and glass are used. The design lowers the production cost, since its structure consists of lots of identical parts. Achieving optimized standards / compliance with new international standards, the low-slung bed easily converts into 9 different positions and the variable height descends low enough for wheelchair transfers.
